Jaffa, the centuries-old port city, is situated next to its young sister Tel Aviv. wandering its streets, one is struck by the rich tapestry of history seeping from every corner. One of the most fascinating streets is “Yehuda Hayamit”, constructed during the Othman era under the former name “King Faisal boulevard” in commemoration of the then king of Iraq.

In a 100-year-old building in the heart of this historic street, sits an impressive preserved building which has been renovated and restored in recent years, in it we find the home of two artists - Elinor, a film director, And Asaf - a musician.

Through years of living together, the couple has amassed a wealth of memories, which manifests itself prominently on display in their home - Photos, furniture, artwork - all represent a unique inner world that defines their idea of home.

The couple's new home was planned and designed with the surrounding urban landscape in mind, finding a language that melds the old and the new, the classic and the contemporary. Each space was planned according to the unique needs of the residents, designing them around a theme, idea or a souvenir from their joint past.
